About

I’m a Toronto-based multimedia artist working in acrylic, watercolour, ink, collage, photography and stop-motion animation. My artwork is an exercise in mimicry, an often unconscious desire to emulate and abstract natural order and processes. Whether it’s searching for the foundation of a new painting or hunting for print material from which to glean, exploration and discovery are central to the creation of my work. 

Holding wildness and order in tandem, I make hybrids that blur the lines of media, scale and setting. Whether you see a microscopic drama or a cosmic squabble, the record of mysterious mechanisms, or a biomorphic planet with its own rules, my desire is that the viewer experiences curiosity
