Prints

These works are editioned photographs of analogue collages, produced as chromogenic prints or archival inkjet prints (giclée). This series of photographs grew from my habit of hunting for discarded print material and mining for images that I recombine into collages. I have amassed an ever growing archive of cuttings, and draw from the paper pieces as though from a palette, a process akin to painting with paper. When the resulting collage is printed as a photograph, compositions become unified, like fossil evidence- all of the spontaneous excitement of collage without the dubious archival reality of glue and found paper.
