Lithophile IV

This acrylic painting was created using palette knives, primarily. A painting made in one of the studios I had in the now defunct 777 Dupont Street studio, it always felt like a stage of osmosis or some other exchange of matter and information. Quiet and busy, pulsing and chattering, trying to be monochromatic.

A lithophile is a person who loves rocks and who may enjoy fossils and is comforted by thoughts of the vastness of geological time.
